VERTICAL & HORIZONTAL PACKAGING MACHINES

Robopac Packaging Machines: Wrap Smarter, Waste Less, Ship With Confidence

From single-pallet turntables to 145-pallet-an-hour rotary arms, Global Scales and System brings Saudi Arabia and the GCC the complete Robopac range of vertical and horizontal packaging machines. Every model cuts stretch film consumption by up to 55%, holds your product tight from the loading dock to the final mile, and pays its own cost back in film and labor savings, often within the first year. Tell us your pallet volume and we’ll tell you exactly which machine earns its keep on your line.

Vertical & Horizontal Packaging Machines

At Global Scales and Systems Co. Ltd., we supply advanced vertical and horizontal packaging machines designed to meet the fast-paced needs of the food and beverages industry. Our vertical form-fill-seal machines are perfect for packaging products like grains, powders, and snacks, while our horizontal packaging systems ensure secure wrapping of items such as bakery goods, confectionery, and ready-to-eat foods. Built for efficiency, accuracy, and durability, our packaging machines help manufacturers reduce wastage, improve shelf appeal, and maintain product freshness.

Product Information

Every pallet that leaves your warehouse loose, over-wrapped, or wrapped by hand is a cost you’re paying for nothing. Product shifts in transit and comes back as a damage claim. Operators burn two to three minutes a load doing a job a machine finishes in twenty seconds. Film gets piled on “just in case,” and that waste adds up fast across a full shift.

Robopac has built machines to close all three gaps since 1982, and GSS supplies, installs, and services the full range across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Turntable wrappers for steady, predictable pallet flow. Rotary arm and rotating ring machines for lines that can’t afford to slow down. A self-propelled portable robot for oversized and awkward loads that won’t sit on a turntable. Horizontal machines for long, non-palletized products and case sealing. Every one of them runs on Robopac’s CUBE Technology, a film-stretching system that reads the load and applies exactly the pre-stretch and containment force it needs, cutting film use by 30% to 55% without loosening the wrap.

Below is the full breakdown for each machine in the range: parameters, features, components, and technical specification. Reach out to GSS for a site assessment and a machine match built around your pallet volume, load type, and line speed.

1. Turntable Packaging Machines

Turntable wrappers are the workhorse of stable, box-shaped pallets. The load stays on a rotating plate while the film carriage travels up and down the mast. Simple, proven, and the lowest-cost entry point into automated wrapping.

Robopac Ecoplat Plus

Description
The Ecoplat Plus is built for growing operations that need dependable, repeatable wrapping without the price tag of a fully automatic line. It runs a powered pre-stretch carriage with adjustable force, so you’re not burning extra film to get a secure wrap. A heavy-duty drive chain keeps the carriage moving smoothly on every cycle, and the 65-inch turntable holds up to 2,000 kg without shifting. This is the machine that gets a growing warehouse off hand-wrapping for good.

2. Rotary Arm Wrapping Machines

When the load can’t or shouldn’t rotate (unstable stacks, oversized products, wet or slippery pallets), the arm moves around the pallet instead. Rotary arm machines keep the load still and stable throughout the cycle.

Rototech by ROBOPAC

Description
Rototech was built for the loads that break other wrappers: top-heavy pallets, loosely stacked cartons, irregular shapes. Instead of spinning the load and risking a collapse, the arm travels around a stationary pallet while a fully automated clamp, cut, and finishing unit closes out every cycle without an operator standing by. If your damage claims trace back to unstable loads, this is the fix.

4. Rotating Ring Wrapping Machine

Genesis Thunder

Description
On a rotating ring machine, the pallet never moves at all. A high-resistance aluminum ring spins around the stationary load, which means no acceleration and deceleration forces working against your product stability, and no ceiling on how fast the line can run because you’re not waiting on a turntable to spin up and down. At 65 RPM and up to 120 pallets an hour standard (over 200 with the Superveloce Kit), the Genesis Thunder is built for end-of-line packaging that can’t slow down for anything.

5. Horizontal Wrapping Machines

Not everything that needs protection sits on a pallet. Long, elongated, or box-format products need a different approach, and Robopac’s horizontal range covers both spiral film wrapping and case sealing.

Orbit R Horizontal Stretch Wrapper

Description
Timber, pipes, window and door frames, aluminum profiles, panels: none of these wrap cleanly on a vertical turntable, and hand-wrapping them is slow and inconsistent. The Orbit R spiral-wraps elongated products as they pass through a rotating ring, integrating directly into an existing line or standing alone as its own work cell. Three ring sizes cover everything from narrow moldings to large panel goods.

FAQ

What’s the real difference between vertical and horizontal packaging machines?
Vertical machines (turntables, rotary arms, rotating rings) wrap palletized loads standing upright, film moving up and down the load. Horizontal machines wrap elongated, non-palletized products, or seal cases, with the product moving through the machine on its side. If it stacks on a pallet, go vertical. If it’s long, boxed, or doesn’t sit flat, go horizontal.

How do I know which wrapper fits my pallet volume?
It comes down to loads per hour and load stability. Under 25 pallets an hour with stable loads, the Ecoplat Plus covers it. Growing past that with automation still in budget, the LT Automatic. Unstable or oversized loads, a rotary arm or the Robot S7. Above 100 pallets an hour, you’re looking at the HELIX 4/2 or Genesis Thunder. Send us your daily pallet count and load type and GSS will confirm the right fit before you buy.

How much will CUBE Technology actually save on film?
Between 30% and 55% less film per pallet, depending on load type and current wrap settings, with no drop in containment force. On a facility wrapping a few hundred pallets a week, that difference alone often covers a large part of the machine’s monthly cost.

Will these machines run on Saudi Arabia and GCC power?
Yes. GSS commissions every machine to the local 380–415V, 50Hz, 3-phase industrial standard (single-phase 220–240V for smaller units like the Robotape) before it goes live on your line, regardless of the export configuration it shipped in.

Does GSS provide installation, training, and spare parts locally?
Yes, across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. GSS handles site assessment, installation, operator training, and ongoing parts and service support as the authorized Robopac partner in the region.

What’s the typical lead time from order to running machine?
This varies by model and current stock availability. Contact us directly for a current lead time on the specific machine you need.

Can these machines integrate into an existing packing line?
Yes. The automatic models (LT Automatic, Rototech, HELIX 4/2, Genesis Thunder, Orbit R) are built with infeed and outfeed conveyors and can be integrated into a conveyorized line or run as standalone cells, depending on your layout.
